How to tag products in videos?

In Shopify, open Apps > Vizup, choose a video in the Video Library, click Tag Product, select one or more products from your Shopify catalog, and save. The saved product tags appear with the video when it is published in a Vizup storefront widget.

These are Vizup video tags on your Shopify storefront, not native Instagram product tags. For Meta eligibility, Instagram Shopping, and product tags in Instagram posts or Stories, follow the current Instagram Shopping guide.

Tag Products in a Video

If Vizup isn’t installed yet, install it from the Shopify App Store by following Shopify’s app installation steps. After installation, open Vizup from Apps in your Shopify admin.

  1. In Vizup, open Video Library and select the video you want to tag. Upload or import the video first if it isn’t in your library.
  2. Click Tag Product.
  3. Open the product dropdown and select one or more products from your Shopify catalog. You can tag multiple products to one video.
  4. Save your changes, then preview the video to confirm the tags are correct.

Show the tagged video on your storefront

The video must be included in a Vizup widget and that widget must be placed on your theme:

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
  2. Open the page template where you want the video to appear.
  3. Click Add section, open the Apps tab, and select the Vizup app block.
  4. Click Save in the theme editor.
